Nice Guys Finish LastSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I think I'm cursed when it comes to relationships because I'm nice. First I was in a relationship for a few months, my girlfriend at the time was talking to another guy and I wasn't mad, but then I know she hung out with him the one weekend and then she lied to me when I asked her about it so I broke up with her. We then took about a month apart and where still together but wern't official, She asked me if I wanted to get back together and I told her to let me think about it, so a week goes by and then she starts going out with some dude who just got expelled from school for selling drugs. Where as I'm an Honors Student and a 4 sport athelete. The second situation just happened recently. This girl I am friends with and had feelings for in the past,(we dated a few times but never where realy together), had no prom date. She was realy upset being that we are seniors so I decided maybe I could ask her and then maybe I could ask her out in the next few weeks. So I ask her, she waits like 2 days to give me a response now tickets are only on sale for 2 more days, and tells me she is going with some pothead. Now she is the good girl type, gets good grades, plays sports, parties but nothing too bad. What I find most hypocritical about this is that she didn't talk to me for about a week after she found out that I smoked weed and had a few cigaretts at a party when I was real drunk.(I don't smoke either regularly, where as this other dude does both daily). It just pisses me off alittle that I asked her to be nice and then she did a complete 180. Am I too nice or do I need to find the right type of girl. Our Suggestion: You need to find the right type of girl. You have a lot to offer and should be able to find a girl who finds you attractive. Keep looking and you will find her. Don't base your feelings on what happened with these two girls you mentioned. There are plenty more girls out there who would be delighted to be with you. You can't be too nice.
