Does She Still Like Me??

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Well theres this girl I've been interested in for some time now. About three months ago, she admitted to liking me too, but said she wanted to take things slow, because last time she went out with a close friend it ended in tears. So everything's fine until one week she starts acting real wierd and avoiding me. I find out by the end of the week that shes going out with her ex. The next week, she acts more normal, but a couple of weeks after that she starts complaining to me about how boring he's being. I kind of ignore this, but then maybe a week after that she starts complaining about him again "hes too clingy" "he always kisses me on the forehead and it annoys me" "hes so boring to talk to" yada yada yada. About the same time, a bunch of her mates ask me if I fancy her and if I'd go out with her. I decide to ask her why she's still going out with him if hes such a ****. She kind of vaguely answers "dunno" and says something about dumping him before the summer, because chances are "[she] won't see him again". She then asks why am I so interested anyway. I said I was just interested. One of her mates piped up "its cause he fancies you" (typical girls). She just sort of smiled and carried on talking about something else. Recently the situation hasnt changed, they still goin out and she still complains about him.

So, getting to the point. Where do I go from here? Do I still have a chance with her, or should I work on giving up hope?

Thanks in advance.

Our Suggestion:
Make sure she realizes that you still fancy her.

No big drama, just a simple reminder so she has you on her mind.

Eventually she is going to dump him and you will be there waiting.

She does still seem to like you.

Good luck! George
