Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Theres a teacher that i like in school and she knows that i love her,i told her 2 years ago but nothing hapened.By the way we are both female. When we have eye contact its strange,it feels like theres a connection but she doesnt act on anything,we dont even talk because its really awkward situation so i cant be sure about whats she really thinking. She sometimes ignores me,sometimes stares at me.Im graduating this year and i really wana know whats goin on now-before i graduate(i cant concentrate on other stuff because of this situation so i dont wana wait till graduation). How can i find out? What should i do now?

Our Suggestion:
It isn't unusual for students to fall in love with their teachers.

It is unusual to let it bother you for two years.

What you really need is some professional counseling. If you have a school psychologist make an appointment for help. If you don't, you may have to tell your parents and ask them to send you to a psychologist. I know that would be uncomfortable to do, but you need to address this problem before it gets even worse.

My advice is not to talk with the teacher. It would just be awkward and if she did respond positively it would endanger her job and perhaps expose her to criminal liability.

Do something positive about this. There are people willing to help you if you just give them a chance. Trust in your parents.

Good luck! George
