Visitor's Question:
Hello-my question is the usual, but with a twist.
Several months ago,a recently widowed lady in my church asked me to help with her sunday school class. Her husband passed away in sept,2005,and I had recently seperated from my wife.At first, she seemed very interested in me,and would linger after class to talk, sometimes being late for the service.I was immediately attracted to her(we ve known each other 5 yrs.)but not being sure of myself, and not sure if she was ready for socializing with another man,I held back from asking her out.As far as physical signs from her, there was plenty of eye contact, and once or twice caught her staring at me when I wasnt looking. Now I could kick myself for not asking her to dinner(nice guys finish last,eh?)We do not see each other much now,as classes have ended for the year..She willl be moving to another city soon, and from what Ive told you, would you take the chance and let her know how I feel?Thank You for your time!

Our Suggestion:
With my earphones on I've just been listening to an old song called "I Pity the Fool."

Now I'm not calling you a fool, but you really need to get your rear into gear. Ask her out for dinner and then tell her you have "developed feelings" for her.

I don't know where that leaves you with her moving away, but at least it gets the message to her. If she has similar feelings for you then you will figure a way to make your life's situation work out.

It's better to ask than to never find out.

Good luck! George
