does he like me?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hey. I'm in my third year at secondary school, and there's this boy who I'm not sure if he likes me or not. He's in the same year as me, and the year we first started, one of his mates came over to me and said that the boy fancied me. The boy said something like ' yeah, but i dont want to go out with you'. Nothing really happened after that, until last wekk. We were in our English class, and our teacher sorted our class into groups, and I ended up in a group with him and two other girls. He was talking to me and making eye contact and everything, but i just put that down to the fact that he's confident. Once he brushed his leg against mine, but that obviously could have been an accident. So today, we were in English, in our groups, doing a group discussion, and one of the other girls asked him if he and his ex-girlfriend were 'pumping it' last night. As a joke though... And the thing that confused me was that he said that no, he was going to try and go with me. He might have been joking, but he didn't laugh or anything, and when I looked at him when he said my name, he looked right into my eyes. He gently kicked the other girl's leg under the table, and then asked if it was mine, but she said it wasn't, it was hers, and he said, 'oh, that's alright then' and she said ' what, so you'll not do it to her but you'll do it to me?' and he said no, he liked me, he didn't like her. The last pasrt was meant as a joke, but the first part wasn't. I'm just confused. I don't know whether he likes me or if the ' trying to go with me' comment was flirting, or hinting, or just an innocent comment. I'm really REALLY confused, and to make matters worse, I like him a bit, and I'm not sure if I'm just rushing into making a judgement cus its what i want to happen or not. Can you help at all?? Our Suggestion: It sounds like he is serious. Why not ask if he fancies you or not. No better way to find out than to ask.
