I like this guy but he has a girlfriend

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
I met this guy a couple weeks ago (we were making a music video, we modeled together as a couple in the video)..he's sooo cute..well, my friend ( the one that got him as my model) told me that he already got a gf...i was soo disappointed; but however, she also said that she don't think that they would last long because everyone can see that they're not connected...while we were making the video, I found out that we got lots of things in common--and somehow, i feel that he's interested in me too.....and I think he's a perfect match for me....he's a nice guy and doesn't at all seem like a player....my friend told me that all his friend knew that he doesn't have feelings for his gf anymore, just that he doesn't wanna break her heart.

Well, all my friends said that we would make a perfect couple...I need an advice to what i should do---I really want him to become my bf....(I accidently left my stuff in his car, and haven't gotten it back since) ....I want to approach him in a natural way, not in a way that he might think that i do it on purpose.....i dun know how I fall for him, maybe it's because of his personality and his look. Well, i'm a very attractive girl...i know that there are lots of guys out there that would want me....but...i need an advice to make him approach me also without feeling bad because of his(unloved) gf...

Anywayz, i'm about to turn 18 and he just turned 19...:)...........thankz you

Our Suggestion:
The key thing here is that you do NOT want to get him cheating. If you did, he would think of you as the girl who made him act dishonorably and it would taint your relatonship. He's also not doing much of a service to his girlfriend. She deserves someone who really loves her, not just a guy who will 'do the minimum to keep things going' and isn't really happy.

So I would be a *friend* to this guy, and try to get him to realize that. Not in a "You should dump that girl!" way - NEVER ever be a break-up person. Because again then you're always tainted as "the person who made me break up". Instead, give him subtle examples of why his girlfriend would be so much better off with the chance to date someone else she was well suited for. That he's harming her by dragging out this relationship that isn't good for her.

Once he's free, then you work on the friendship even more and show how good a team you two are. The rest will come naturally. But make sure you have him understand the existing one first.
