Visitor's Question:
I am an 18 year old girl and i have been with my boyfriend who is 2 years younger for a year now but we live in different countries, we have been bestfriends before that since we were like 8, we're rlly close but we only meet each summer for almost two months but since we started going out he has been coming to me twice or more through the year, he told me that he was in love with me 3 years before he asked me out but he was too scared to ask because of our age difference :S now we r really happy together but i think that iam getting too attached, i think about him for hours and it keeps me up a lot at night, I jst miss him like crazy, and i cry like every night bcoz of it, he also says that he misses me and loves me the same way and always will and he's always really sweet, but I am literally going crazy there's nothing but him on my mind, maybe he feels the same but these days i feel he is starting to miss me less, he's always too tired and wants to sleep so we talk for just one hour maximum while we were used to talk for like four!!! i know iam crazy but we were used to talk a lot more than that...specially on the weekends...iam just too scared to lose him he is the LOVE OF MY LIFE and iam sacrifcing a lot to be with him as my parents are against it bcoz of our different nationalities and age and all but iam just crazy about him and i wanna make sure that we dont lose each other bcoz of the distance...what do u think? would he really be losing interest ? or am I just being too crazy about him? :S pleeeeease help

Our Suggestion:
Yes, you are too crazy about him and this may be driving him away from you.

You need to get more control of yourself. Long distance relationships require a love that is not so strong as to make you cry at night.

And, if you act out too much, your parents will be even more disapproving of your love.

So, relax and let a good, smooth relationship continue to exist. Remember you are the older one and should be more mature. He probably doesn't know what to do about your "crazy" feelings and might be confused.

Good luck! George
