Visitor's Question:
Ok on valentines day i was her valentine and i kissed her and now we going out. she has a lot of problems though and all i want to do is make her feel good and know that i care about her. we text a lot and i don't know what to say to her now to make her feel special. so please help

and another question, how do u get them out on a date, and how do u know what to do with them? ive always cared about other people and making them happy, so i hate chosing where to go because i don't know if thats where they want to go.

One more thing, what do i talk to her about on a date?? cause im really scared of it being like quiet the whole time because i don't know what to talk about with girls. so please help!!

Our Suggestion:
Instead of texting, start using the phone.

This will give you practice thinking about what to say and how to say it in sentences. It doesn't have to take the place of texting, just as an added way to communicate. Email is also better than texting

Ask all your friends and relatives what fun things they enjoy doing. Once you have a list, pick out three. Then call her up and say that you've got three ideas for things to do and which one would she choose. If she says for you to choose then be ready to decide which is the most fun.

Talking to girls can be scary, but with time and practice you will get the hang of it. It's like sports, music, singing, drama... you have to practice a whole lot before it becomes natural to you. Remember that she is supposed to talk to so it isn't all on you.

When in doubt, ask her questions about herself. When was she born, where, how did she end up living where you are, is she Irish, Italian or whatever, how many brothers and sisters does she have, what are their ages and names, what kind of relatives she has like grandparents (where do they live), what pets does she have, their names and ages, do they know tricks, where does she go on vacations, is she happy with that, what are her thoughts on sports, music, religion, politics, school activities, teachers, etc. Whenever she says someting, you might be able to think of a question about it.

Now once you get answers about one question, you have to tell her how you feel or what your circumstances are. She should want to know about you too

More: ask her about her college plans, career, marriage, children, where to live, whether to rent or buy a house or condo, etc.

Also: ask her who her friends are, names, what they do together.

This will all make her feel special.

Enough for now! George
