Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Ok . I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year and 3 months. we have had a lot of hard times and a lot of good times as well. Lately we have been fighting a lot, but I just cant seem to let him go. Recently i have been talking to an old friend a bout my problems, and we have been growing closer and closer.i have found myself caring deeply for this person, and it is beginning to scare me, because he also has a girlfriend and I dont want him to hurt her. At the same time I dont want to hurt my boyfriend either. He told me that he is beginning to fall in love with me , and I believe I am doing the same. at the same time I believe I might be falling out of love with my current boyfriend. It kills me to say that but it kills me to see the other guy with his girlfriend, and pretend there is nothing between us.
what should I do.

Our Suggestion:
Hi,
My original answer which you called "dumb" is at the bottom of this message.
I must have been unclear or you misread my advice. I am not advising her to cheat, in fact, the opposite. I said she should not do anything while she has a boyfriend. That instead she should keep this new person at a low level (in other words just a friend.) If it turns out that both couples break up then, and only then, should they consider getting together.

As for your question, I have no way of knowing what it was. (It took me a long time to find your friend's question.) If you remember what you gave as a title I might be able to find it. The "right" way to ask for new advice is to resend the question and explain you need new advice. Unfortunately, you can't pick the advisor and the way things stand now, it's me.

George

(the original advice follows):
Only time will tell how this works out.

Neither of you can do anything while you have other loves.

You should keep your relationship with this new person at a low level unless you both break up with your current boy/girl friend. If that happens then hopefully you two will get together.

I wish you the best.

Good luck! George
