Visitor's Question:
thanks for reading my message,

I met this girl that was working cash at the local grocery store, I was too shy to talk so I asked a friend who was working that day who she was and she told me her name, so I decided to add her to facebook to break the ice a bit it kind of worked and I asked her to add me to msn and she did we did small talk for a bit it was mostly me talking but I just tried to get to know her a bit, and msn is all I have because she doesn't go to my school and barely has any shifts at the grocery store and has now quit that grocery store to work at a closer one to her home. About a week or so after meeting her while she was still working at the same place I first saw her, I offered to give her a ride if she ever wanted one to work since she lived quite far and had to walk all the time but I think I might have moved too fast because she never asked for one and kinda brushed it off when I asked, but about 2 weeks after meeting her she had asked me if I ever wanted to have a smoke with her I agreed and picked a day but she never replied to it so I didn't think of it as nothing and continued to try and make small talk and a week later I asked if she wanted to go for some ice cream but ever since she asked me to have a smoke together shes been fairly difficult and hardly replies to any of my messages. I have a feeling I could be talking too much and that might have scared her off or is she just playing hard to get I'm sort of confused I just wanted to take her out on at least one date to see what shes like, but I'm having trouble on doing so like finding the right things to do and say online to get her as interested as I am.

(keep in mind that I barely see her)

Thanks again I appreciate your help.

Our Suggestion:
Don't give up hope. As long as you are communicating there is a chance she will make a date with you. Don't be shy. Keep suggesting a smoke or something.

Remember, "Faint heart never won fair lady."

Good luck! George
