Coming for a week... :-SSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi all, I used to know a girl a while back [little more than an acquaintance then, really], but she moved away. Since then we've struck up a solid, long-term, long-distance relationship...and it's going perfectly. But now she's coming to stay. She'll be here for a week, and I'm besotted by her and her by me...but a week of 24/7 contact is daunting! We're often together [at a distance] for long periods like that, but when she's here...we're really going to have to 'do' things. I live in a small place and opportunities aren't so abundant [I think I can fill about 3 days :) ], so...my question is this: How do I keep her happy and occupied for a whole week? Being together is *a lot* of it, but I don't just want to wallow around at home [or doing 'normal' activities] all week. What's the normal protocol? :p All answers much appreciated. Our Suggestion: There are thousands of things to do. Since you love her, they will come naturally. Pack a lunch or buy sandwiches and drinks and go to a National forest or State preserve and hike for a day. Head for a beach, lake, or river and hang out on the sand. Go out to dinner, of course. To the mall. Go golfing or play tennis. Go out for an aimless ride and talk. Ask her what she wants to do. Get a sheet of paper and write down choices for each day.
