I've given the guy the cold shoulder, but now realize I really like him.

Visitor's Question:
Hi, I've been struggling to figure out this guy for a while. See we met each other teaching Bible School at a local church. I've always loved kids, so I saw this as a great opporturnity. When I got there, there was him and two other guys around my age volunteering there as well. I, naturally, liked one of the other guys. I talked to him a lot more, but the guy I like now seemed to really be interested in me then. I talked to him, but never really thought about him afterwards. I got contact info from the other guy, but I realized he really wasn't my type. Then I started to think back to my conversations with the guy I ignored. I liked him. A lot. I do see him on ocasion, at a store or at church. He completely ignores me and I feel too ashamed to anything except smile. Usually, he smiles back, but it's not heartfelt anymore. His mom also seems to really not like me. Now comes the time for Bible School again, and I think he'll be volunteering again. So if I see him, what should I say to win him back--if not for a romantic relationship, a friendship?

Our Suggestion:
When you see him, look him straight in the eye, smile happily, and say in a clear voice "Hi" plus his name and smile again. He will not be able to resist this open offer of friendship.

Tell you are happy that he is teaching Bible School again because you are looking forward to talking with him a lot.

Ask him for his contact information so he knows you like him.

This all will be a snap. All you have to do is be happy and pay attention to him. He will eat it up.

Good luck! George
