Visitor's Question:
OK, well my ex girlfriend and I are 2 years apart and we went out for 9 months during my senior year in high school, and we were actually engaged for a brief moment in time. It was a great relationship, we lost our virginity to each other, and we were each other's first love. Her parents loved me, and we spent a lot of time together. Everything seemed so perfect, until she got pregnant. She got an abortion and her parents made us break up (neither of us wanted to!). She called me her best boyfriend and I did everything for her. But 2 years passed, and we just started talking again via text messages, and we even hung out a week ago. We also hung out with her best friend. We were all in my room and I was giving her a foot massage and her friend texted me saying, "She likes you again." We went to the mall, I bought her a few things and she wanted me to buy her this shirt and she said something along the lines of "You know we're going to date again, me and my best friend talked about it ... it's going to happen." But I've always been the type of guy that worries a lot and that since we don't really see each other during the week, she will lose those feelings for me and find someone else. She is a beautiful girl, and some people think it's crazy that we were together because I don't match up in the looks department... even though I did absolutely everything for her. Anyways, she said she wants to "take it slow." I've been looking for little signs that show she wants to get back together, for example a couple days ago I said, "I swear on MY unborn babies life, I didn't do that" .. and she said "you mean OURS?" ... and whenever she goes to bed I always tell her I love her and she says it back ...but like I said, lately I've been worried that she will lose those feelings and it seems like she flirts a lot. I made reservations for just the two of us on Friday to a very nice restaurant in the area and she will be sleeping over. From everything I told you, would it be within the realm of possibilities to get back together and what should my next move be to further that along? Thanks.

Our Suggestion:
You need to make up your mind.

She is giving strong hints that she's ready to date again. Are you going to let your worries come between you? My advice is to give it a go since you will never know if you don't try.

This weekend would be a great time to bring up the subject.

Good luck! George
