Visitor's Question: I started hanging out with a girl I grew up with about a month ago, the first night things went pretty far in terms of hooking up. After that we have been hanging out here and there and this past Thursday she expressed that she liked me but did not want to rush because of a bad end to her last relationship. I was perfectly fine with that. On Friday night I went out in the city while she went out at home but we agreed to meet up later at the bar she was at. I texted her a few times while on my way and no response from her which is odd because she is constantly checking her phone. I decided to just go anyway and came in with her talking to another guy. We said hi then she blew me off and I left angry and told her I did not like that she blew me off. It ended up being a friend she had not seen in 2 years. She told me she did not mean to blow me off and she was sorry that I felt that way. Her phone is now broken and I have not been able to get ahold of her the past two days now, I have sent her an email telling how I overreacted and that I care a lot that we get back to hanging out to see where it goes. I see through her away message on AIM she has not been home so I doubt she has read my email. I really like her and dont want to mess this up, do you have any idea what may be going on from other stories like this and what should I do? Our Suggestion: Your relationship is only a month old, so it is difficult to make a determination at this point. Once you reestablish contact with her, try your best to see where your relationship stands. She may be perfectly happy with you... or she may have turned cold toward you.
