Visitor's Question: so im in high school and i like a boy a year younger than me. at first, we were friends, then he would always text me randomly for homework then keep conversating with me and whenever he texted me he would be VERY flirty. but then at school, he would ignore me, so i thought he was leading me on so i dropped him. at homecoming, he asked me to dance, and he spent the rest of the dance w/ me and we were holding hands and we almost kissed.everyone thought we were into eachother.later i found out that he was shy, hes 16 and never kissed a girl ( but hes not a loner, hes a jock and hes has girls that like him) then we started texting eachother again, and he kept saying he wanted to hangout (although he cud never officially ask me out , hed always say we should do hw together or something) so then we had a hangout sesh that went well, i'd always catch him staring at me and smiling. so i tried to make it obvious that i was into him (without actually saing it). and after a while we slowly stopped texting eachother and for the past 2 weeks hes been ignoring me completely like pretending im not there, seeing me from a distance and avoiding me so our paths wont cross, and avoiding eye contact. he acts completely normal around all the other girls and his friends, but when hes around me he ignores me or is really quiet..is he shy or just lost interest? Our Suggestion: Sounds like he is shy and doesn't know what to do now. If you like him, take the bull by the horns and make contact with him. Maybe that is what he is waiting for.
