Finding a Relationship

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
hello, its me again.the next question that i have to ask is, when it comes to meeting girls and searching for relationships, the type of advice that I hear sometimes from experienced people is that as long as i concentrate on my priorities, such as my education for example, that everything else where girls are concerned will fall into place. This does somewhat make sense, but does this mean that if i just do my thing, things will happen naturally,or do i still have to take some initiative.

Our Suggestion:
Well as in much of life, luck happens to those who are prepared. Usually someone who is 'lucky' in a sport situation actually did tons of practice beforehand and the luck was really that he was prepared.

So yes, focus on your priorities. But still, if you're studying in the park and notice a girl studying the same book nearby, it might be great if you studied together. If a hobby of yours is fencing, don't just focus 100% on the fencing and ignore the pretty women who are in your class. There are people all around you. You don't want to spend 100% of your time chasing girls, because then you would have little to offer one if you caught her! But neither should you spend 100% of your time nose down in books, because then you could spend 100% of your time in a job when you graduate, and then 100% of your time on retirement and in the end, you've missed out on life. Balance is key.

Focus on your priorities, but keep your eyes open to the world around you as you head towards them :)
