Visitor's Question:
So after several months, of dropping hints, and being passive, I finally decided to tell my current crush the way I feel.

After getting some one on one time, I told her flat out that I liked her, and she said she knew it (as the previous day she said she had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that It was her who was my crush). I told her that be it good or bad, that I do like her, and that I was different from other guys.

Now, I expected her to say that she doesn't need a boy friend right now, and that was what I got. She told me how she has her own issues, and that she needs to do them alone, and how if she had someone, she would bring them down.

I told her that even when she settled her issues, I would still be around (which garnered a positive reaction), and that I don't mind being the go to guy, to be able to help her when she needs it, since the last few guys she was with, just were not great guys all around.

I made her blush and giggle, and at the end she came in for a hug, and said thanks. It did not feel awkward at all, and even more importantly, I did not feel any sort of rejection.

Now with that said and done, I have no idea what to do next, or if I have still have a legit chance to be with her. Thanks for the help.

Our Suggestion:
Tell her that you understand how she doesn't want to date right now. Then ask her if you could hang out as friends and maybe go to a movie as friends.

Girls (boys too) can change their minds very quickly, so make your move while you are on a semi-roll. She may think differently now.

Good luck! George
