Temptation to cheat?

Visitor's Question:
I've been married for a year but our sex life has been declining before the wedding and stopped completely on our wedding night. I don't know what's going on, my husband doesn't initiate sex, nor responds to my advances. I tried to talk to him but he's not willing to talk. All I heard was that he's sorry and he wants me to know it's not my fault. we are still affectionate, we kiss and hug, we are great friends and are silly with one another. there is just no passion whatsoever. i have a high sex drive and i'm going crazy. A couple of days ago I stumbled upon my ex boyfriend. we dated for a couple of months years ago but it ended without closure and before we even had sex. he suggested maybe we should have that one time, since he's getting married and moving away soon. i love my husband very deeply and i don't want to hurt him but the idea of having the night of a one time wild sex with no strings attached is very tempting. plus- no one would ever know. i can't go much longer without sex. i've been using a vibrator but i need a man. and, in a way, my ex would be just as much a tool as a dildo. should i resist or go for it?

Our Suggestion:
What you and your husband need is counseling to get to the bottom of the problem. Unless you plan on having a sexless life forever you need resolution or a divorce.

Suggest counseling to your husband and if he says no then tell him you can't live without sex and that you can either get a divorce or go ahead with your plans to have sex with other men. It's his choice.

If he refuses to deal with reality then my advice is to go for it-- and divorce your husband.

Good luck! George
