Visitor's Question:
I met my boyfriend on inter net (chat) we lived in different countries months passed we start seeing each other at first didn't fell Love, spent months getting to know each other, every step of the way something special was happening. and recognized that I was slowly falling for him.
then months of being together have to go back to my country for work, I don’t want to but I have to for my family & for our future.. through chat and call we have communication, then one day we had an argument about not answering my call and about what I’ve done wrong when I was with him & every time where talking always end up with argument I decided to end it up because where both scared to hurt each other and lost respect. I told him that I didn’t love him I just learn to love him! and I fell sorry for loving him I hate him for the rest of my life! I lied to him & to my self, I love him but for some reasons we have to learn from our mistakes and we have to know if we really love each other...months passed never heard anything from him, I try to keep my self busy working but still the presence of him.. I’m so stupid for what I’ve done words that I don’t want to say to hurt him so much. Now his gone I miss him so much and I want him back. Do I have to say I’m sorry?I want to but I’m scared what should I do?Im planning to send him letter and say sorry and i want him back...what is the best way?

Our Suggestion:
Your idea of writing him a letter saying you are sorry is a very good one. It is important to hear this from you and it will be a step toward reconciliation.

Emphasize that the arguments were a part of the growth stage of your relationship. Sometimes we can learn more about each other by arguing. Of course, arguing too much is not good.

His reply to you will probably be tentative since he has been separated from you for so long. Make sure your letter is a long one and that it is from your heart and very honest. Remind him of the good times you shared and suggest that it is possible to have them again. Hopefully this will work.

Good luck! George
