I've been flirting and sending clear signals that I had a thing for him and he returned them, he even hugged me a few times and always smiled at me. I thought he liked me, then I made a mistake of sending him a too clear message on facebook and he found out that I liked him. Now he started to ignor me and if he saw me in the hall he turned and walked away. it really hurt, I asked my friend to ask him why he was ignoring me and he said that he didn't like me at all and he wanted me to leave him alone. That hurt like a red hot knife through my heart, I was so hurt. He is also one of the popular guys and I am kind of not the popular girl. did he send me mixed signals? does he liek me but is showing it oddly? Our Suggestion: Popular guys have a lot of girls flirting with them. They are first popular because of their looks and clothes and personality, then they develop the ability to interact with other people in a way that makes them feel special and liked. That is what he was doing with you--smiling, hugging, etc. But once you started pressuring him he didn't want to deal with it. So he cut you out of his life. It's sad but true.
