Visitor's Question:
Basically, 5 weeks after we split up after an 11 month relationship, he started going out with another girl.. naturally i was devastated but just after christmas we got talking and he'd bring up a little bit from the past, get jealous over other lads etc, and then, when i saw him out, he was looking at me constantly looking all bothered other lads were all over me, and i found out, that before i was there he was all over his new girlfriend, yet whilst i was there, and when i left he ignored her.. and now i find out that there just 'alright :/' i'm getting so many signs that he still has feelings for me and my mates swear they think he wants me back.. when i told him on new years eve i still had feelings for him, he told me that i had to move on for myself friends and for him, that we had something special but not now.. and i'm really confused.. what do i do? there's so much stuff pointing he's interested for him to say that.. I'm really sorry about the length of the question i couldn't make it much shorter,
thanks a lot.

Our Suggestion:
If this lad is telling you straight out to move on, then he probably means it. That does not mean he doesn't have feelings for you anymore. But it DOES mean he is trying to not act on them. He might even miss you, and in moments want you back. But overall, he has decided to move on. You need to respect his decision, even if that hurts. It is best for you to get back into other interests, or see if there is another chap you might like instead.

I know these things hurt, and I wish you the best. You never know. If you are getting on with your own interests, you might find you are enjoying life more without him, and you are open to a possible new love.
