Is He Using Me?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I've just started talking to this guy on MSN. He knows my friend and I've been on webcam a few times with him so I know he is legit. He's a soccer player as well for a small team so I know who he is. We've been chatting on MSN a lot and we take it in turns to start the conversation. We have been flirting quite obviously and sometimes he will say little things to tease me and he said I was beautiful and that he really meant it. The thing is that my dad is a soccer scout and he has mentioned a few times to me about my dad coming to see him play. He's only mentioned it a few times and it seemed in quite a jokey way. I can't help having doubts whether he genuinely likes me or not. Also he's nearly 20 and I'm 17 and he lives 4 hours away. He said that he would come and visit me and my friend and it is even costing him a lot of money to do so. He is really nice and I love talking to him but I don't know if he likes me and I suppose nothing could really happen if he lives so far away. Do you think he likes me or is just using me for my dad and should I stop talking to him in case I can't control my feelings? Our Suggestion: It's definitely a good thing to ponder - but in the end let's say he did initially contact you because he heard about your Dad. At this point he may have fallen for you and the reason he initially contacted you doesn't matter at all. I would enjoy the flirtation and fun. If he does like you, it will be great! No relationship is ever guaranteed no matter how it starts so you have as good a chance as any other person to see this last. Lots of people date long distance, far longer than four hours.
