Kissing is a very intimate form of contact and the most important thing about kissing is that it is INDIVIDUAL. You may read where people say "this is how you kiss" or "a great kiss is like this". While that may be how THEY kiss, every single human being kisses differently. Also every single person LIKES to kiss differently. Some like wet, sloppy kisses. Some like gentle, dry kisses. Some like powerful, passionate kisses. Some like slow, lingering romantic kisses. So there is NO secret to "kissing right". If there is any secret, the secret is to try a kiss on your partner and then ask them dreamily "Harder? Softer?"

Make the whole thing into a fun treasure hunt sort of game. Try more passionate and say "That was the passion kiss!" Try gentle and very soft and say "That was the lamb kiss!" Then tell him what YOU like best and ask him what he likes best. The more you make it NORMAL to talk about the kissing and what you like, the more fun it'll be and the more you'll enjoy it.

So to start with, start with cheek kisses! Do the exact same thing. Kiss him on the cheek and say "That was the Mary Anne kiss" or something like that. Invent different names for different kisses on the nose ("Eskimo Kiss") and so on. That way they won't be scary or threatening, they'll just be fun.
