Visitor's Question:
I was dating my ex-girlfriend for about a year and a half. we broke up because she thought i was trying to control her life. but i tried telling her that wasn't the case i just wanted to become a part of her life.

she always seemed to put her friends before me. we still talk and hang out all the time but she doesn't want to get back together. I want a relationship and honestly its hard for me to let go of her. I still get mad when she tells me shes going to hang out with guys and is having them come over. she still yells at me and gets mad at me as if we were still together. I did so much for her and still do and i feel as though she takes advantage of me as though she should still get all the benifits of being my girlfriend but none of the responsibility.

i still love her and she claims she still loves me but every time i try to talk to her about it she gets angry and says she hates me. this is a never ending process and i can't deal with it anymore what should I do

Our Suggestion:
It sounds like you guys are still arguing as much as you did before you broke up! If you try to talk to her and as a result she gets angry and says she hates you then something is seriously wrong here. A relationship should always be about best friends who can talk about anything. Apparently to her a relationship is about yelling at people.

I would really take a long break here and get some distance between you two. Maybe you can be friends again after a few months but friends do NOT yell at each other when they talk. They talk and share information. When she's able to do that, you have a chance of being friends. But when she is hostile and aggressive like that, just stay clear of her. You can't "fix" her.
