I'm tracking down hairs - is she cheating?

Visitor's Question:
I think my girlfriend might be cheating on me with my roommate, but i'm not sure. We have been together 3 months and about 2 months ago I heard her say "I will sleep with anyone", while she was SLEEPING. I don't know how much truth is in sleeptalking though.

In addition, one day I noticed a strange dark long pubic hair (DEFINITLY NOT MINE) on her sling (she broke her collar bone). I just moved into the apartment and about 1 week after moving in is when I noticed the hair on her sling. In addition, i am not close friends with my roommate. Not only that, but the other day I looked on the kitchen counter and saw a hair from my girlfriends head and another one of those black pubic hairs RIGHT NEXT to it.. AM I GOING CRAZY or is this really wierd?

PLEASE HELP!

Our Suggestion:
People say all sorts of bizarre things when they are sleeping - you can't really use that as any way to judge anything. Heck, she could have been dreaming that she was being tortured and made to say things she didn't agree with.

As far as hunting down hairs, that's really stretching it. These hairs you are seeing could easily be from a jacket she has or a hat or something else. Or it could be that the hairs *are* from your roommate, end up on your roommate's hands for sort of obvious reasons and then fall off his hands as he goes around the apartment. I know that MY head hairs end up ALL over my house, in every corner, just from normal living. So the fact that you find hairs around an apartment is quite normal.

If you are concerned about your girlfriend, talk with her. Say that you have concerns that she is attracted to your roommate and that you would rather just know than to find out from someone else. If she is really cheating it might be that she feels relief to be able to tell you about it. It's more likely that she is not cheating and that she makes this clear and also makes sure that it's not a concern of yours in the future.
