Dating Long Distance

Visitor's Question:
I was dating this girl for about 3 months at the end of school last year, but when the summer started, she worked 40+ hours a week, and we just couldn't get together anymore, and she decided to break it off.

Prior to this, we had met 2 years earlier, and we were both attracted to each other, but neither let the other know, but we acted on it after 2 years.

My question involves her now. I really feel that we had something and that there is unfinished business. I know she doesn't dislike me, cause we talk alot and have been to a college BBall game and movie together, where there was some leg stroking and hand holding, in the last week, but I don't exactly know how to approach her about BF/GF status again.

Our Suggestion:
Just about every adult works 40 hours a week, and they still find plenty of time to date and even to have families. So you guys have to ask why she felt that she couldn't have a boyfriend just because she was working. Sure, you might only see each other on weekends. So? That's quite a fine situation for dating. You email or call during the week and then visit on weekends.

Lots of people date long distance and only get to see each other every few months! So if you guys have the luxury of seeing each other weekly, and like each other, I'm not sure I see the reason for breaking up. Unless she is trying to live up to the expectations of MTV or something where dating couples are climbing all over each other daily. She needs to build a relationship based on her reality, not on a TV show.
