He Cheated Repeatedly

Visitor's Question:
i have lived with my boyfriend for ten years, we are not married. we have one child together and one on the way. a few years ago i found a condom wrapper in his car. he lied and said he lent his car to a friend. i did not believe him but i forgave him.

now, i was paying bills and i went online to pay his credit card bill, i do all the bills. i decided to check the last months activity just for the heck of it. i found a charge to a motel on it.

he denies that he cheated, he says he lent the credit card to his friend and his friend payed him cash. i did not believe before and i don't believe him now.

i am 3 months pregnant and very angry and comfused. i don't think i can leave him, but i know i can't forget or forgive. i want to ask him to leave, but i haven't been able to do it. help.

Our Suggestion:
If it was one time and he apologized and was really sorry, I would take him back. However now it is two times and both times he lied through his teeth. There is no way you should trust your children in his care. What if he lied about where he was, and you had to go to a hospital for an emergency and he was AWOL? You can only imagine the real problems this sort of lying is going to cause. He's betraying his entire family here and apparently he doesn't care.

Talk to your parents, your friends, your family and any other support group you have. You deserve to be somewhere you are loved and supported. You NEVER should stay with someone because you feel you "have to" and you should most especially never stay with a liar in this situation. Get yourself a group of supporters and then tell him to go find someone else to use.
