How Do I Talk to Her?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Im in middle school and there is this one girl that i like but i havent told her that. We are friends but i dont know if she likes me or not. Like, we talked on AIM a lot but other than that we didnt talk in school. And then one day i made her laugh really hard on IM and the next day she passed me in the hall and she said hi to me in a really cheerful way and i said hi back but i couldnt talk cause i had to see someone about a project. Now she laughs at like all my jokes but we have yet to talk in school, but i figured i'd aproach her in school tommorow. She isnt with anybody either. Another problem is that im in 7th grade, shes in 6th so we dont have any classes together. Another problem is that 7th and 8th graders are supposed to like hate 6th graders (just a tradition in our school) so if i ask her out i would make a fool out of myself cause yah..... I also dont know any of her friends and one day at this competition she saw me and sorta just stared at me for like 20 seconds... and i dont know if she likes me, what do you think? Please help Our Suggestion: Obviously this girl likes to talk to you. Also, you really need to learn to not care about what others think. If you only date people that the world says are OK to date, you can live an incredibly miserable life. If you like her, you should date her, and who cares about silly traditions. There used to be traditions that people should only date people in their "income class" - surely you don't believe those any more! Start talking to her more in person! Build a friendship.
