There is a girl in my newspaper class that I really want to ask out. The problem is that she is a senior and I am a junior, and besides that I am really shy when it comes to love. Is there anyway to simply ask her out in casual manner that leaves room for something more? Any help is much appreciated! Than-q!

Suggest that you get together for for coffee, lunch, etc. Public places during the day are safe and non-threatening. If the conversation went well, tell her you had a great time and ask her if she'd like to go to a movie, maybe dinner.
