Hubby is Talking to Another Woman

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My question is How do I deal with jealousy? My husband has a very good friend who is female. He hasn't known her long, they were coworkers until recently -- and they shared an office for several months. We used to do things with her and her husband, but she is having problems with her marriage. She talks about her problems with my husband, which shouldn't be discussed with him in my opinion. She switched departments, so she is still in the same building as my husband. Lately, she has been taking her break to go and talk to him in his office...she's been calling our house in the evening. I try not to be so jealous, but I cannot help it. Please give me some advice. Thanks!

Our Suggestion:
Dealing with jealousy is one thing - but dealing with a co-worker who is going through a divorce and who now is calling your husband at home is quite another. Your husband needs to draw a line in here somewhere. Yes, she needs a friend. But no, she shouldn't be sinking her claws into another man to help her feel 'valid' while she is being divorced. She should really find herself a therapist, and some female friends. Normally I am all for a woman having male friends and visa versa, but this sudden affection of hers for your husband is a little too badly timed to think it is a "friendship" she wants.
