I Want to Date Her - She Always has Friends Around

Visitor's Question:
i am not sure exactly what i should say so i might as well tell you the whole story. I came with my mum and dad to cumbria from essex when i was very young - and i became quite a country lad, living in this nice old village.
but i found it hard to settle in - i am not part of any "gang" or fashionable group and the friends i do have are very trustworthy and "loyal". anyway that doesn't mean to say that i was looked down upon as i was and still am popular.
When i came to secondry school however, i saw this girl who i slowly came to notice - but i had no idea who she was. however, a nice bunch of friends told me who she was and for a time i was friends with her brother - without knowing they were related, until i went round to his house and met his family. In a year, however we drifted apart slowly. I started gcse drama and so did she and over the following year i got to know her slightly, and we started to say "hi" to each other in corridors. at the end of the year some of my friends had urged me to ask her out - but i was inexperienced and i did it pathetically, she turned me down, but seemed to want to become friends. but it was the 6 weeks long holidays, i regret not getting in touch with her. i still liked her like anything when we came back - but she had switched form rooms and so i couldn't say hi anymore. i then found that i had a talant for acting which went so far that it's now my future (predicted a* in drama) and through the mounths i tryed to impress her + i have had long chats with her + her friends, she seems to like me, and i have learnt alot about her. now its a few weeks off the gcse exams and i know she is revising like i am.
i really want to be with her, but she has always been in friend company, what do i do?

Our Suggestion:
It sounds like you have a great start to things if you share common interests and are able to talk together! Now you just have to get things to get closer together. I have a TON of advice on the site about slowly getting romantic with someone. Go out to eat, go out to fun movies, all as friends, And then slowly make things more romantic. Follow the advice I have on the site, to ease into it.
