Visitor's Question:
Ok, I had made the stupid mistake of joining the military, we thought that we would last as I'm sure most other couples would. I would be gone for 10 months or so for basic training, and technical training before I even started the job. Well halfway thru basic we broke up b/c of distance and communication problems, both of which could not be helped. So during tech school, when I could call more often we talked about going out again, and she said we'll see. which was agreeable, I was still far away. I got a discharge and got home and she was still thinking, during the time I was gone and got back we flirted and everything like we always have, and still do to this day. But I pushed and pushed blindly, and she took it like I was lecturing her on how she should feel, and she told me not now, maybe not ever. That broke me, but now were hanging out again, calling, talking online, flirting, etc... like before, everyone says I have a good chance, but they don't really know all this, for now I have just let it drop and flirted back, but haven't brought anything up for fear of killing any chance I have left. Help please!!

Our Suggestion:
It sounds to me like this is a friendship that should stay a friendship. I don't think that she's looking for more from you and it's easier on you to let this slide rather than push for something that won't happen. You can find a new love and leave this as a fond memory.

Good luck!
