I made my girlfriend mad because i brought up and asked if she still had feelings for her old boyfriend. I want to know what things i can do to win her heart back so she isn't so mad at me

She shouldn't be mad at a question like that, it's perfectly understandable that you'd ask something like that. So it'll just be a matter of time before she settles down and things will be back to normal. You shouldn't go apologizing for asking her questions. Communication is vital to any relationship and being honest and open about your feelings is key to having a good relationship. So she should be glad you asked instead of burying your feelings. I guess the good thing is that you now know the answer to the question!
