Do you have some advice for this person?

This guy- who happens to be younger than me and a friend-kissed me. But when i asked him about it later he said he wasn't ready for a boyfriend girlfriend thing. Now its akward when we hang out with our friends. How do i respond- i really like him and wish he was ready for some type of girlfriend.



Our Suggestion:
Sometimes people do spur-of-the-moment things that they later wonder if they should have done. It sounds to me like he was feeling all hot in the moment and that later he cooled down and realized he wasn't ready for anything heavy like a relationship. Unfortunately for you, this leaves you in the lurch. You should just chalk up this event as a "starry night", a time when everything was perfect and that won't happen again.

In the meantime, act as if it hadn't ever happened. That will get you back on track with him as a friend.
