Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Um I have been with my boyfrind for a year now. after the first 3 months i found out that he was married and he was still living with his wife. he married her for her papers and they our going through a verry difficult divorce. it was like the longer this went on the less i saw him and i got lonely. so i started seeing someone else on the side. but i only saw this other person for a week and never had sex with him. i could'nt stand what i was doing because i love my boyfriend and i only want to be with him. well the other guy is very controlling and he would not leave me alone! yesterday my boyfriend came over my house to see me and i was watching a movie with him and the other guy came banging on the door and making threats he busted out all the windows in my boyfriends car!! the police refused to bring the guy to jail. i'm so afraid i'm going to lose my boyfriend. i don't know what to say or do and i need help. all i know is that i only want him and i never had intercourse with nobody else what should i do to save our love???

Our Suggestion:
Well, first off, if he's going through a painful divorce, why is he still living with his wife? That to me sounds very fishy and I would investigate further before you continue with this guy. I know you say you love him, but do you really want to be involved with someone who cheats? If he cheats on his wife, then he's likely to cheat on you too.

I'm sorry to hear about the wacko boyfriend who broke out the car windows. And I'm shocked and surprised that the police didn't do anything more to help you out. That's a tough situation. You may need to get a restraining order to get some peace.

The only way you can keep someone from leaving is by being the best person you can be, and trusting that it is enough to keep the other person's interest. If it doesn't, then that person obviously wasn't meant for you and you should find someone new. It's clear that you are a loving and giving person. You deserve someone equally as caring as you are. Keep looking until you find him.

Good luck!
