Visitor's Question:
What does this mean exactly? Me and this guy have been showing interest with eye contact for almost 6 months now. He's the one who started the initial contact by getting my attention flirting. I only see him once a week. When he's on the other side of the room he looks for me and stares and I can't help but look at him in return. Once I was talking with a guys sitting next to me and he was watching giving these looks as though he didn't like it. When he comes around my area he acts distant like he doesn't know me and gives me straight faced looks. One time he was on my side of the building where I usually sit. (I don't want to disclose place) When I entered the entrance he saw me gave me a huge wonderful smile and waved at me saying hi. After the service, I pass him, said good-night hoping to strike a conversation with him. He looked through me with a straight face saying "Have a good week". What does his behavior sound like to you......I'm getting mixed signals...Is this some kind of ego game?

Our Suggestion:
There's nothing saying that a girl can't make the first move. You've been playing this eye-contact game for months now, and it's about time one of you did something about it. He's obviously not moving forward with it, so it's time for you to give him a nudge. Next time you go to pass him, move out of the stream of traffic and lean down to tie your shoe. Then when you stand up (next to him, duh) wait while people go by and say "bye" to them just like he is. That way, when all the people are gone, it's just you and him standing there staring at each other. This is the time when you can start up a conversation like, "So what did you think of the sermon this week?" or "I can't wait until the Fourth of July. What do you have planned?" or "Gee. We always look at each other, I figured it was time to really say hi. Want to go for a coffee?"

There's nothing wrong with taking the step forward... sometimes fate needs a helping hand.

Good luck!
