Visitor's Question:
Hi, um this is a tricky one. I have been very close to this guy for about two years now. We are best friends. Since the very begining I have had feelings for him and I knew when I first met him that he was unique and he was special. Well we had a bond that seemed almost instant, honstly it was the strangest thing I have ever incountered, there is a lot in between now and then, to keep a long story short lots of hug and other intimate things that I don't think younger people should read about, nothing too raunchy, The things that happened between us were things that danced along the edge of breaking the friend ship barrier, no kissing, just very close hugs. Anyway a few months ago we started growing very close he brought me to meet all of his friends from church and has even gotten me started in his church. We hang out all the time, the only thing that puzzles me is that about 7 months ago he told someone he liked me, but just didn't want a girlfriend at that time. When we are alone he will occasionally hold my hand, if we play and he hurts me he'll kiss it and make it better. He has touched some intimate parts of my body, but in a playful manner and for about five moths strait he called me everyday. He constantly flirts. When we sit close to one another he will usually make sure that his knee or whatever is touching me. He always says goodbye with a close hug. I'm the person he confides in with his personal life. I don't know if we are going to ever have this wonderful relationship because everytime somebody talks about us being together he says we are just friends. I honestly don't know what to do, I mean does it seem that we are more than just friends, is he scared of commitment or what I['m really scared to come out and say<"i love you" because of what he says to people about us. What is going on? Please help this problem is driving me crazy. by the way, I'm 17 and he is 19.

Our Suggestion:
You need to confront him or you will be hurt. He may be afraid that you don't like him. You'll never now unless you ask, politely, what is going on. If he says he only wants to be friends, then don't let him say or do things to or with you that you wouldn't let a friend do.
