We're Growing Apart

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
i'm in need of some advice about my current relationship. me and my current girlfriend, we are both 16, have been together for almost 8 months. we've been through the worst and through the best of times. from death to my drug abuse, to births and so on.

but to get to the point... it seems we've been growing apart. i've started to notice it. just the little things. we've started arguing. heck, we've only had 2 fights. now we have arguements frequently. i love her so much and i don't want to lose her. i hate the thought of us breaking up. her friends call me paranoid, that we'll never break up. she's the best thing to ever happen to me, and i need to find a way on how to make our relationship better.

any little things i can do that can fix it, to have our relationship go back to what it used to be, when we were all "gaa-gaa" over eachother. i miss those days, and i think she does too. any suggestions?

Our Suggestion:
There is never any way to "turn back the clock". All relationships grow and mature and go through changes. If your body tried to keep up the 'new love' rush of hormones, it would burn out. You should be happy that you have survived together long enough to be in the more mature stages!

I have information on the stages of relationships here -

so understand where you are right now and then read all the tips on my site on how to keep things happy and loving!
