Does he like me?

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
I need some advice. I am a senior in high school and the guy I like is a sophomore. We are both involved with an activity in which we see each other about 4 days a week, and that is not including the time we see each other in school. Well, anyways, I like him...and he knows that I like him...but I dont know if he likes me back the way I like him. In particular, we spent time together yesterday at an amusement park. My friend walked around with me and a bunch of his friends (including his twin brother). On about every ride, my friend made sure the guy I like and I got to ride together. We stood together (pretty close) in line and we were talking and stuff. About a couple weeks prior to this, I made my friend ask him if he had a girlfriend and if he wanted one. His "supposed" answers were that he didnt have a girlfriend and he didnt want one, because he wanted to concentrate on schoolwork and other stuff. And, yesterday when we were finally alone and talking, he confronted me about those questions. He asked if I asked my friend to ask him and I said yes. Then he asked if I was still looking for a boyfriend and I said yes. Then one of his friends came over and started talking to him...so we never got to finish our conversation, because we were with our friends the rest of the day. I was going to tell him I liked him and ask if he liked me too, but I talked to my friends and she said not to and wait for him to approach me. So, I never did. I am regretting it now. Does he like me? What should I do?

Our Suggestion:
He brought up the subject himself before you were interrupted. That might indicate that he is interested in you in a special way. He made the first open move by asking you those questions, now it is your turn to bring the subject up again. I'll bet he will be happy you do. Even if he says he is not ready for a girlfriend, at least you will have cleared the air and you will feel less stressed over the subject.

Best Wishes,
George
