Inappropriate touching Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, From the time i was 13 to about 20 I was sexualy harassed by a female relative. She lived with us and when I did complain to my parents I was told I was misunderstanding simple affection. I've lived away from home for seven years and have recently moved back for a visit. All was fine and I thought we had got over this problem. However I'm seeing someone now and last week the whole problem started off again. She does not do anything that I could bring up in a court of law... just inappropriate touching and groping and accidental bruhing. I have told her to lay off and I have had an argument about the inappropriateness of the whole thing. I am now at a loss as to what I should do. This is a problem for me as it is making me moody and irritable and extremely nervous. I am going to leave in about three months but any advice in the interim would help. Thanks Our Suggestion: My advice is to confront this relative again and again until she gets the message. Whenever she brushes you, tell her to stop it.
