Jealous of the ex Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have a great boyfriend. Un the past I had found out that he was hanging out with his ex girlfriend. He lied to me about were he was at that time, but I caught him in that lie. We both had talked and decided to drop it. We now have plans to get married, but i still find my self bringing up stuff from the past that involes the ex. The reason for that is she goes to his moms all the time. How can i stop wondering if them two are talking or messing around. How can i forget this all happened because I want to be happy and get married, but the ex is making me misable Our Suggestion: One idea is to make friends with the ex. It is hard to be jealous of someone you know well. If that doesn't work, you need to have a serious talk with your boyfriend about his feelings towards the ex. If he plans to continue to have contact with her, you will have to learn to deal with your jealous feelings-- as difficult as that is.
