Visitor's Question:
Ok there's this guy Joe that i have started to like n i have also felt that he likes me too cuz u know the way he talks to me and looks at me etc. He is really shy and introvert. We dont communicate well with each other cuz we're nervous its not like we dont talk at all, we talk less but general stuff (school stuff) but we are though powerfully attracted to each other. Ok this where a problem starts.....

all of my friends know that i like him and stuff...n so during lunch they we're saying" if ur friends with him then go sit by him, n it'd be cute and all..." i didnt want to, but i really wanted to like do smth...so i went there n sat next to him...( the good thing was that few of my friends were sitting close to him,...so i was talking with them at his table) i was forced to sit right next to him, i was soo nervous that i couldnt say a word to him. All of his friends were sitting with him, they didnt say anything tho. When the bell rang, i turned to him and he said hi! and thats it so i thought that i should walk out with him from the cafeteria and but when i was walking with him he started to ignore me ! so i felt bad cuz i thought i was following him.. and i made myself look bad! today when he usually waited for me outside of my class, he wasnt there...he didnt even make any eye contact with me during lunch or anywhere else if i see him! i am confused! is it because i embarssed him?, he is very sensitive? or he doesnt like me anymore like he did before?....i wanna know before i make a decision about going further on with this... i know this is long but i am sry i need to know...thanx!

Our Suggestion:
Best thing to do is to find a way to talk with him alone. There is too much pressure with a lot of friends looking on. Call him on the phone and have some things ready to talk about. For example, apologize for putting you both in an awkward situation at lunch. For other talk tips see: http://www.romanceclass.com/miscr/howto/whattalk.asp

Good luck,
George
