Visitor's Question:
Ive liked this girl for a while and shes definatly been flirting with me but i didnt think it was solid enough proff that she liked me, but the other night i was out with my mates and we met her and some of her mates coming out of a party, we all knew each other so we walked the girls home, i didnt say much too her during the time we were with the girls, but as we were about to go home she came up to me and gave me a cuddle, my mate said to her we love **(me), and she said i love ** too and kissed me on my cheek, i didnt think she ment anything by it and thought she was drunk or somehting. The next day i was talkin to her about me out with my mates that nite, and she said to me that i told her i loved her! and i rememeber i definatly didnt say that too her, but i went along with it and said i did, i then said to her you told me you loved me and gave me a kiss, she said i know i wasnt drunk, i knew wat i was sayin and doin lmao. The next day my mate was round ehr house and we was talkin over the internet about something and she said you told me you loved me on friday and put her name by wat she said. i again went along with it and said i do, and my mate made a thing of it and said i was in love with her, i just didnt say anything apart from she told me she loved me too, but he said only as friends.
The next day i gave her a song and she said she loved me, i said wateva and she said i do and im not drunk.
It might sound stupid but its confused me and it just seemed strange that she kept bringing the fact up that i told her i loved wen i didnt, she made something up and then makes a big deal about it.

Our Suggestion:
Confusion abounds! She probably did confuse what was said at what time. The way you described it was a little confusing to me. But whatever the case may be, you say you like her and she says she loves you. You ought to correct the misimpression she has that you said it first. This may put a slight damper on the feelings for a short time but it is important to be honest with her and now's the time to do it.

Hope this works out ok for you,
George
