Keep being her friend

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
So there is this girl that i have cared for over 6 months and she has cared for me too, but we have never been able to date because she has always had a b/f. We are in school everyday and we flirt and have a good time the whole day. And now we even hang out at my house and go out to movies and stuff. Now she is finally single and we have made some major emotional connections, we've even kissed on several occasions. Ive asked her out and she is now thinking about it. She has told me that she wants to slow down because she has unsettled feelings (which i dont know what their about). I love this girl with all of my heart and want us to be together, but i dont want her to break my heart again. Is there anything i should say or do to make everything go smoother, because this is really tearing me up just thinking about it. I think she is one of the most wonderful girls i have ever met but i dont know what to do about it. Can you give some advice in a hurry please?

Our Suggestion:
The best thing to do is to continue being her good friend and doing things together. It seems she just needs a little time and space to get her thoughts together. Be there whenever she needs some one to share her thoughts with.

My guess is that you two will be together before too long!

Good luck.
George
