Be understanding

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My girlfriend during talking after I said I loved her, which we say regularly, said she could love me more. I asked her what she ment, but she said nothing and denied even saying anything of the sort. I asked again if this was something ihave done wrong can change etc....but she just said don't worry. I asked again in the morning what she ment, but she denied again and said that she only said i love you back. I'm not deaf, i know it does not sound major, but i hate it when women do that. Why do women do this, what do you think she means, should i ask her again, be more direct?

thanks!

Our Suggestion:
Try to be understanding. We all say things that don't come out exactly right.

She may have been trying to say that she couldn't love you more.
She may have been joking about loving you more "physically."

No telling what else she might have meant. She may not even remember now.

My advice is to drop it rather than screwing up what seems to be a good relationship.

Best wishes!
George
