Visitor's Question:
ok, here's the deal... my friend set me up with that guy who she knew was crazy about me. we spoke for about 3 weeks before the first time we actually hung out. we always have great conversations on the phone and online, and we could talk forever. I really started to like him and we started hanging out more and more. Our first kiss was in april, and we see each other about twice a week and we always have a great time. Here's the problem, I don't know what our relationship is. Are we boyfriend/girlfriend? I don't feel like we are really. I mean I'm not going around hooking up with other guys because I don't want to do that to him. And I'm pretty sure hes not going around hooking up with other girls. But I still don't feel like its "official"... And I also feel that I'm the one always calling him to make plans or to see each other, like he hardly calls me and says come over or something, and its hard because he doesnt have his license yet so I'm always the one to drive there, which makes me think thats the reason he doesn't call me because he feels like maybe asking me to come over is like intruding in my "personal life" or something. But that's what I want.. I want him to call me and I want him to want me to come over, I don't just want to call him and say I want to see you then have him say ok come here if you can. I want him to want me to come there from his heart. What do I do? How do I make it feel like its official, I would love to be his girlfriend I love spending time with him but this whole running around sneaking around for a month isnt doing it for me, especially when he tells our mutual friend that set us up that he has a girlfriend (implying me) but he doesnt tell me that I'm his girlfriend... help me pleaseeeeeee.. what do i do!?

Our Suggestion:
It's rather simple: start communicating.

Tell him you want it to be understood between you that you are boyfriend and girlfriend.

Also tell him that you would feel more comfortable if he would call you up and ask you over sometimes.

All good relatiionships are based on mutual attraction and good communications.

Good luck!
George
