Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
I'm 14 and going out with a 17yr old guy for just about 2months now.
I'm usually good when it comes to prblems like the one i'm just about to talk about' but i thought i'll just make sure i do the right thing. Last night i got a phone call from one of my b/f's cousins. He was saying bad stuff about my b/f and stuff. So I told him not to say that about him. He was saying stuff like "i like you and do you want to get to know me and when can we go out" Well, i wouldn't mind to become friends with him, then i could know more about my b/f and i obversly said that we can't go out because .... is my b/f and i'll always be loyal to him.Oh ya and he told me to please not tell my b/f about this phone call.
Well what i think, is that this whole phone call was a set up because i got a call on Monday night as well and ...(my b/f) knew about it then. It was the same guy that phoned me last night. I really think that they did this to see what i'll do or he could be looking for a reason to break up with me, but that... i HIGHLY doubt because my b/f and i are quite close and are mad about eachother.
Whether my b/f knows about it or not i think that i should tell him, even my mom says that 90% of the time they know about it and that i should tell him(i think so too). Right this moment i'm waiting for him to call me because i can't phone him, and he knows i want to tell him some thing.
If he tells me that he knew about this all along i'm going to be VERY upset, Because it could be another sign that he doesn't trust me. Do you think i'll be doing the right thing? What do you think about this whole situation?

Our Suggestion:
You and your mother are both right.

Tell you boyfriend what happened and tell him that if he had any part of it then you would be very upset with him.

You are just telling him the truth which is the right thing to do.

Good luck!
George
