Visitor's Question:
Well, this is my dialemma. Im going out with a guy that is a month and grade younger than me and has never had a real relationship before. I am more experienced than him in pretty much everything that is involved in a relationship. We have been going out for almost 2 months and he still hasnt made the first move. Another problem is that we were friends for a year before we started going out so it feels wierd still. Now going into school again another guy is interested in me and he is really nice and i like him, but im going out with my current boyfriend who was my friend for a year and the relationship we have is still kinda like were friends and it isnt moving anywhere. I think he is shy and unsure of what to do since he is new at this whole dating thing. where im not. So what should i do? I really dont know what to do. I dont wanna be mean because he waited a year to go out with me (long story) and now he finally is, and it isnt going the way i thought it would. I know i cant lie to him though. So is there any way this can be fixed? maybe were just better as friends. But i dont want us to be ruined as friends. He has always liked me, but i have always thought of him as a friend, so i dont know. What should i do????

Our Suggestion:
If you want to give him a chance, you are going to have to take the lead in the bf/gf department. Yes, this means all aspects.

He is just too inexperience to do it himself.

If you don't want to lead him by the hand, then you will need to break up with him in a gentle way and ask to remain friends. My guess is that he will take it well since it takes the pressure off him to figure out dating.

Once that is done, you can go out with the new boy.

Good luck!
