Visitor's Question:
Bestfriends are soulmates. I've heard this statement. I don't know if its true or not. Well, my bestfriend M* and I have known each other for almost 5 years. We recently got in touch after a long absence. We both were being "anti-social" because of dealing with our exes. We finally got a hold of each other and talked. She called me. We hung out the other night with one of our good friend. It was thee best night I could remember in the longest. Being next to her made me realize that I have more in my heart for her. We are affectionate to each other and do say I LOVE YOU (but in a way that we care deeply) I am afraid to tell her that I how I feel because I don't want to lose her. They say that its not worth to jeopardize a friendship true but then how do I live without giving a shot. I am jsut taking it an easy right now little by little. We went out last MOnday night. I just sent her a photo that we took of us. I mailed her the photo with a note saying "thinking about you" I wont see her till she gets back from NY vac with a friend of hers. My question is how should I let her know without ruining my friendship with her? She is as caring to me as I am to her so I cannot really tell how she feels about me at all. Give me some advice please.

Our Suggestion:
Tell her your friendship is one of the most important things in your life and you wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize it.

But then you would not be fully honest with her if you didn't share a feeling that has been growing in you.. and that is a feeling of romantic love. Tell her it is under control now, and you wanted to tell her in case she felt the same way and also so the feeling does not get out of control and potentially ruin your friendship.

A true friend, as she is, will be accepting of your statement and will tell you the truth in return.

Good luck!
George
