Visitor's Question:
i need help. theres this girl in my school, last year, she asked me out, seemed to do so, but i was shy back then, and besides that, she was supposedly movin outta town, but then this was cancelled and she stayed never moving, at the time i was in grade 8 in high school and she was in grade 7 elementary school.

now im in grade 9. and shes in grade 8. i never get to talk to her at all becasue obviously she doesnt go to my class,i dont have her email adress, and i dont know any of her freidns to well. but id like to contact her agin, talk to her. im starting to like her, and i feel like an idiot and a moron that i didnt do anything when she asked me out, i just avoided her, and that was the stupidest thing i coulda done, anyway, i wanna talk to her again, become freinds, but its hard casue i cant find any time to talk to her. but i think she still likes me, like when the boys and girls basketball teams were goin to this other town for a game, the boys game was first, and she was waitin for her game with the rest of her freinds and team mates, but she seemed interested in me, i think she said hi to me as well, and i answered back, and she seemed to admire my graceful speed, unbreakable defense, and precise shot (sorry i had to me this immodest but i think she liked that).

im tryin to start a relationship. so what do i do, how do i talk to her, how do i show her that i regret my stupid move from last year, and how do we become freinds. please help

Our Suggestion:
It sounds like she's still interested in you which is a good thing. But she's probably understandably cautious because the last time she took that brave step to contact you, you turned her down and then didn't talk to her afterwards. That's a pretty upsetting thing to happen to someone!

So show her that you've changed since then. Be overly friendly, say hi when you see her, make the effort to talk to her. She's the one that took the first step last time, it's your turn now. Find ways to say hi, to ask how things are going, to show that you want to talk to her. With you both enjoying sports, it should be easy to find things to talk about and things you'd enjoy doing together!
